Peer editing benefitted me mostly from reading others’ introduction paragraphs. I think this helped more because I could explore ideas of writing others had. For example, while writing my draft of my introduction essay, I will make more of an attempt to connect with my readers by starting out with a broader explanation rather than explaining the ideas of the authors and what my essay will consist of. By starting out an essay broadly, or with larger topics, it is easier to relate to everyone separately and in different, but personable ways. By having others read my introduction, it is easier to pinpoint my strengths and weaknesses.
